“Holly opened my heart and mind to new ideas. I am very grateful for her.”

1:1 GRIEF COACHING/SUPPORT

Holly provides support for women grieving the death of a spouse/life partner, as well as women whose loved one has died from a brain tumor. She works at a pace that honors her clients’ journey using a holistic heart-centered approach allowing feelings to unfold organically, where clients feel seen, heard, and validated. Holly provides tools to guide you in moving through your grief, befriending it, honoring where you are, and standing in your power.

Holly’s model is interactive as participants share stories of their loved ones & their relationship with them, exploring ways to integrate loved ones into everyday life – continuing the bonds with hope and love. This may include but will not be limited to activities to promote their path to healing (which is ongoing), remembering and restoring. These activities are designed for each client’s personal grief style with the understanding that grief is not one size fits all – that our grief and relationships are unique and individual.

Holly facilitates grief education programs for organizations, houses of worship, schools, corporations, and more. Her programs include but are not limited to:

Grief Definitions

Understanding Grief

Being Present for Grievers

Grief Misinformation

Grief Stages

Ranges of Emotions with Grief

Honoring & Validating Feelings

And More

GRIEF SUPPORT GROUPS

Grieving as a community can bring comfort and support to those who have experienced the death of a loved one. Holly’s support groups are welcoming as she respects each person’s loss experience and invites interactive engagement in whatever way feels comfortable to participants. She provides exercises that include but are not limited to: creativity (no artistic talent required), writing, and body movement.

If you would like Holly to facilitate a support group for your organization, circle, etc., please reach out to have a conversation. If you are interested in joining a closed widow/life partner loss support group, please connect with Holly to be added to her list. This group will begin Spring 2024.

“When I first started working with Holly, I was in a very difficult place. I had never felt the sense of loss I was experiencing and had never felt so disconnected from myself. Holly was beyond kind and patient with me, especially in the beginning when I just need to talk and help make sense of everything. I felt very safe and comfortable being able to open up to Holly and share the pain and loss I was going through.”

“Holly is so compassionate and understanding in her interactions with people experiencing grief. She has not only faced profound grief herself; she took it upon herself to gain the expertise in helping others to process their grief. She has trained with renowned leaders in the field of grief. I first met Holly through the work she does with the National Brain Tumor Society by facilitating their monthly Brian Tumor Grief Support group. She is probably the best listener I have ever met and seems to always know the right way to respond to someone who’s facing grief. I have also worked with Holly through NBTS on advocacy issues having to do with the brain tumor community. As in her grief coaching professional life, Holly is dedicated to the work she does. She is energetic and completely and unflinchingly committed to serving others...always in an empathetic, compassionate, and loving manner. Those of us who know Holly and her important work all see the same thing...a real gem who always makes herself available to those who most need her guidance and support.”

“The space created by Holly for the bereaved is truly supportive and empathetic and it has been a profound and invaluable experience for me to observe her work. Holly's compassionate and masterful guidance fosters a welcoming atmosphere for an open sharing of grief experiences. Her expertise adds a professional touch that makes the discussions even more impactful with an emphasis on not just sharing grief but also equipping participants with tools and resources to navigate through the grieving process.”

Rachael Kittelson, Sr. Director of Community, National Brain Tumor Society

“Holly is a highly professional, compassionate and gifted coach. She gently guided me through a process, one in which I learned how to release the pain I associated with losing my husband. Now I embrace the beautiful memories instead of being gripped by the pain. I feel inspired to keep moving forward, taking on life with a greater sense of relief and trust in what comes next.”
